Before HW it was quite good, but now, not so much, because most useful things are hidden and retainers can not gather them.

Thanks Erendis, I had both retainers as DoL and I just changed my botanist to DoW (at level 38) because I wasn't finding much use for the mats I was getting. That confirms I made the right decision :)
