I've been getting almost insta-pops for trial and guildhest roulettes as a DPS, and LLR and HLR have been sub-15 minutes.

My FC is more dead than it was before. Had a load of folks come back for HW only to quit right after.

To be fair, this has been the case with patch cycles before, and I can't see any reason it would change. They've outright said that players and subscriptions drop off sharply about a month after the latest patch has been released (which is why their pace of content release has been so feverish before).

If it's dead, then why some servers still have new character restrictions?

Those don't normally show up during off-peak (early am) hours.

Its not even close to being dead, but yes the server population is down across all servers. But that's 100% normal, the population will spike back up once 3.1 gets here and then after awhile it will go down again until the next major patch.

I still have queues to log in during the evening, so it's not that dead. There are several large conventions going on this weekend, though, so my FC is quiet since most of them are attending. DragonCon in GA and Anime Fest in Texas I believe.
