Surecast & Enochian question

If you're new to stuff, and quite a lot of people are judging from the amount that still go through story trials and dungeons first time daily, then you generally have two sources of information.

A) Ingame help text, which uses "interrupt" far too generous (see Stoutertaru's post), as a result you wouldn't know what "interrupt" Surecast really refers to.
B) Community in game and forums, which is seemingly more interested in throwing sticks and stones at fellow players instead of providing help.

Which is why Surecast is MOSTLY useless. I say mostly because it can help for those times when you're expecting a party-wide attack that may interrupt your spell...which isn't going to happen that often.
