Wow really? The 2 year mark? I can still remember when I joined Beta during Phase 3. Started on some random server till I found friends, then finished out my P3 on Hyperion. Then quickly secured my spot on Hyperion into P4 since character data was finally being saved ^.^ even if I only got to play 2 1/2 days of P4 @.@ hahaha.

Ah Phase 4 Beta before all the toxicity when the biggest complaint was... I keep getting 90k and these other errors. Before Coils, EX Primals and many other things. Good times! Been playing my Miqo'te with a few changes since then when I created it back in Phase 4.

As long as we're discussing memories I started back in Beta Phase 3 as well. By the time Phase 4 started several people I knew had got on as well, and we created a linkshell as a makeshift FC until we could make a real one. Most everyone barring myself has since left the game and I myself left the very FC I founded, but it remains on the server and seems to be doing well. Kinda nice seeing something me and my buddies made having a lasting impact on the server, even if we don't run it anymore.

I was an alpha tester for 2.0, but due to the way alpha and beta testing worked, our characters were created and destroyed multiple times during the course of all that testing. Finally, I was able to make a character that was permanent - my Ultros Roe lady, Ornlona Wistuwyn, has her birthday today.

AA yes remembered Alpha 1-4 where all there was to do was one dungeon and guildleaves in the Grindia area

Funnily enough I'm in a similar position where today is my character's creation anniversary, his actual in game birthday, and my own in game birthday. Truth be told that's the only reason I remember when Beta Phase 4 started.
