I <3 Patcher freezes @87%

Just got back from work 2 min ago, have it on bit torrent and its reading 12 min to completion! (I honestly don't use SE's updater anymore, ftl)

Put the patch file inside this folders and start the game, it should work.

C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV\downloads\ffxiv\48eca647\patch
Thats for Vista/Win 7

I'm downloading the link that was on this page and ill try it again and see what happens.

Should I have anything in the Downloads already?

Also do I add everything thats in the download? OR just the D2011.10.01.0000

I put the patch file in its correct spot but when I restarted the FFXIV Updater it took me back to 60%.

Do I need to delete something?

Same here I deleted everything out of downloads then put everything I downloaded into the download folder.
Hit ffxiv icon and it started downloading again from 0%

Figured it out ty all for you help.

You have to start the download first, Exit out, go to the folders delete everything even whats in the patch icon. Then add everything you downloaded to the patch Icon.

Ok I got it.


Get the file you downloaded and place it in "Patch"

If you downloaded before hand delete the file/files that in the "Patch"

Make sure you dont have FFXIVUpdater running while you do this.

Once the file in 48eca647 - patch

start FFXIV and you should get a install menu.
