There are a grand total of 2300 threads in the Japanese General Discussion forums. There are TWENTY NINE THOUSAND in the NA General Discussion forum.

Thats over 10x the amount of threads.

No wonder it looks like they get more responses.

Not really. A sizeable portion of the threads on our forums are either duplicates (some of which have gotten a response from community reps already; why would they respond to a second thread?) or they're pointless tripe like someone whining about getting kicked from a DF party after telling off the tank for not keeping hate.

Honestly, I kinda wish the mods would clean up more of the pointless threads in these forums.

Digging through, I'm still seeing threads complaining about something. I would need to better understand at what point do you consider complaining to be just whining. Otherwise, you've only given me threads that weren't necessarily negative in any connotation.

Not denying that their forums aren't cleaner. But some threads seem to poke about making copies of already established topics. Might be that it's looked down on much more severely, possibly that moderators for those forums are more strict/diligent with keeping it all centralized.

But as an addendum to your edit in your first post:

That's actually really bad. They need to be more proactive and be professional about this considering these are the official forums. So if that's the case, maybe need to work on that.

The JP folk actually give well constructed feedback and responses while everywhere else players instantly create 20000000 of the same "CHANGE IT NOWNOWNOWNOWNOW" threads. I wouldn't respond to threads here compared to the JP forums either.

They did say that the Japanese people are more competent in the game (our Savage is their Hard mode) and therefore, they don't complain that much. They are also more towards communication and group play rather than us, individualism and solo-plays.

So, it makes sense that their threads are more towards fun things rather than our complain threads to make this one class OP in regards to it requiring 10 seconds more to complete this dungeon than this other OP class.

Mentality. Also, we're not afraid of voicing our opinions and stand in the pool of shame but in their culture, shame is a lot more like insults and should be taken seriously. Just my two cents on the topic.
