How about... not having Mudras interrupted by normal GCD skills?
You could just set up macros for different mudras possibly. It might be extra space on the bar but if they worked more consistently then it might be worth it. It depends how the lag hits though and how macros run. It's possible that they could allow you to get around server-side lag if they execute all at once and then hit the stack so it would match whatever delay you were getting on the server and still be synced properly. If not though then another fix might be necessary...
Are you *sure* it isn't client-side lag that is causing this? Even with a good connection sometimes things get slightly muddled as your source connects to the ISP then SE servers and back again. Without some way of verifying this it could be anywhere in the I/O chain in all reality. This wouldn't stop the adding of a mechanic to compensate for this though but it would be a tough fix to pull off besides just outright widening the input window or something.
just make it calculate on client side. problem solved.
hacker/cheater? screw them. the server still have to finalize the ninjutsu before allowing us to use them anyway.

step3 mudra 3 (client)
step4 ninjutsu (server)
and Kassatsu shouldn't have any delay after we activate it. so annoying.
Yeah I think being able to use Mudra in between other abilities would help a lot. I suggested it a long time ago and was just told Ninjutsu would then "be too OP". I don't think that's the case. Being able to weave the Mudra into your rotating would just be more fluid and less susceptible to lag complications.
