Please Increase Ground Mount Speed

I use ground-based mounts in the old areas simply because the flying mounts look silly walking.

Sitting on Twintania while she waddles around makes me giggle almost nonstop. xD

If someone doesn't want faster mounts they could always just choose to move more slowly, or pause every few seconds, to ensure they arrive at the same time as they would have before.

Demand first bigger 2.0 zones, then we can talk about faster ground mounts. There is no use for faster ground mounts if the maps are not big enough for them.

Why the hell would I use a ground mount in a Fly zone? ARR areas aren't that big and to use a ground mount in a HS area, you must like the heavy annoyance...

People just look for stuff to nitpick jeez.

Move speed is fine for ground mounts, this wasn't an issue in ARR and flying mounts more than make up for it in the new areas.

Also at the person saying restrictions to be removed? Since when is being able to move faster a restriction?
Personally I'd think it would be silly and stupid to see people zipping around at super fast speeds in the old areas.

it would be nice but part of the reason everyone likes flying/flying mounts is cause they're so much faster
people still use ground mounts in areas that don't have aether currents

Why not just implement an instant TP to wherever you right-click on the map?

Yoshi did say they would increase ground mounts speed, several months ago. But at some point he did a 180 on that statement, but he never really mentioned his own change of heart. Just pretended he never said it I guess. I'd appreciate a little bit of a increase. I mean if they are going to increase flying mounts, you should also increase ground mounts because.. well flying mounts don't exactly need the increase anymore then ground. You can get around pretty quickly in the sky.

Because I said reduce, not remove? It's entirely possible to do that without zipping around at super fast speeds, whatever that means to you.

So, does this mean people are done with wanting new ground mounts and from this point on all we should get are flying mounts?

Because if there's no incentive to use them in the new (active) zones....
