No, no it's not.

You only get feathers for subscription from the friend who subs the longest. So if you have two friends, and one subs for 30 days and the other subs for 240, you only get feathers for the friend who subbed 240. You don't get more feathers for the 30 days your other friend subbed.

Now, if the friend who subbed 240 quit but the friend who originally only subbed 30 came back and resubbed for an additional 240 days (totaling 270) then you would get the extra 5 feathers.

EDIT: You would get a bonus 5 feathers simply from recruiting a second friend, however.

Everything is correct except for that last part. You can only get the 150, 210, and 270 day Feathers once. No matter how many friends reach that number. Therefore you can get 25 Gold Feathers for Recruiting 5 friends and 15 Feathers for having one friend sign up for 270 days.

Getting both mounts requires 23 Gold Feathers.
One loyal friend recruited gives you a max of 20 Gold Feathers.
Five disloyal friends (as in, took a look for five minutes and never came back) gives you 25 Gold Feathers.

So let me get this straight here is my exact scenario. A friend subbed for 210 and quit. So I need more gold Chocobo feathers. Can I recruit one more friend for 30 days and get 5 feathers? The official info says so but I could be wrong. And if I were to recruit two friends I'd get 10 feathers? Gold ones? Used to buy Twintania?
