I like the darkside aura how it is. If they change it then I hope they only change it for those who don't like it. Must be a fair number of people who disagree with you guys for SE to just give it the ability to not be seen. Please SE don't listen to these people.

Personally I think black flames that closely hug the DRK would be best.
Less areas of the screen "flicking" - the fact that the current flames are red makes it worse; reminds me of that Pokemon episode that caused seizure in some children. -

you know i agree with the aura being moved to living dead, in the same regards that the onlyskill that tanks have to survive with some sort of visual queue (ignoring icons which can be a bit tricky if you don't know it off by heart) is holmgang (during duration) and hollowed ground (activation which it dents to display when not active yet >.<))
having a nice visual queue during the duration would help in making a quick look disunion on if the are in those states, say the white small shield wall duringg hallowed grounds activation keep them around the paladin, holmgangs chain is quite visible so that one is good
and living dead needs something because from what i can see its activation animation and the time when the person gains 'walking dead' there is no visual queue for this, it just instantly switches over,
also unnatural fire when moving *looks at warriors with 5 wraths.* SE they are moving around with fire D: -

I don't thing Hollowed Ground needs one seeing as it's just 10 seconds of complete immunity. The Paladin will wind up topped off either way before the duration is up.
Holmgang, possibly, but I feel of them all, Living Dead has the biggest drawback and requires the largest amount of healer attention. A Warrior can be left off fine with 1 HP after Holmgang, or even just half of their health. But if Living Dead has anything less than 100% of your HP healed over Walking Dead's duration, you die instantly. And not to mention, healing that 100% threshold removes Walking Dead completely.
The aura should only appear once Walking Dead has been triggered. -

I really liked the black flames, but I understand how they could possibly look strange when mounted or moving. Great post, and I hope SE notices how many DRK want this effect added back in. Keep working for a solution to this problem, SE! Maybe have the effect leave a larger/taller trail 1-2 yalms behind the DRK when they walk to hide the clipping around the feet? As far as mounted, i'm perfectly ok with it looking like my chocobo is on fire.
