i100 and i110 gear no longer special

Well I can't really express it another way than it being a selfish desire to be better and more special than everyone else.

They didn't take anything away from you, and all the PvP exp you grinded out is still there. The functional advantage you have is still there and earned, it's just your rare appearance to easily display your elite status to other people is no longer rare.

The mentality to avoid feeling burned should be not caring what other people have access to, and expecting all items to lose rare status over time so that you do not get sentimental over them. Zodiac weapons were quite a grind too, and now they are much faster to get.

All they had to do was increase PvP Exp and wolf mark gains to reduce the grind. Doubling gains or something would have been very desirable.

Well one could hope they did increase exp gains because r45->r50 would take absolute ages with the current exp gains relative to the exp that will be required.

The casuals and glamour peeps will farm the new frontlines for 2-5 days to get the animal gear, then never touch pvp again because they have what they came for.
Who would grind over 1000 matches to just START to get near the rank required to wear the new stuff? There are no stepping stones anymore. its 0-45 for nothing but some titles(average of 600-900 frontline matches as of Slaughter) then who knows for 46-50.
What they've done is kill the new pvp before it hits the ground in the long run. Massive boom at the start, then the casuals leave, old pvpers ragequit, etc..

That pissed I need a second post, lets face it removing means the only reward you can get for ranking is only placed at the 45+ mark

How does that make any sense, all these beautiful glamours released for just a couple hours qing vs us the ones who dealt with it, spent months grinding and kept pvping going.

But hai np se listened to us and removed gc restrictions, oh wait no, no they didn't........

I think the really big issue should be the ppl who gonna just hop on for the glamours and dip after, bringing terrible play to PvP for the time being albeit with faster que times, because the regular PvPs all quit most their playing also.

I can agree with that, is nice to have stepping stone rewards along the way to incentivise playing.

Getting to rank 50 will be a monster grind I am sure. For me, I think the incentives will be tomes of esoterics and buying old pvp gear to desynthesise.

@Rufalus Yeah it is a desire to be special, however not better since pvp gear has never really been "good" besides arena, we worked for that gear. It takes over 150 games that no matter how good you are you had to play. Unlike pve where you can get into a good group and get the gear right away. You still have to do a decent amount of content to get the Zodiac weapons, what this is doing to pvp is going to be getting people who don't care about anything but the armor, those people a lot of times refuse to listen and do their own thing and lose the game for your team. If they want to make it easier for people let them get double xp till 40/45, there are so many different options that are better that does not burn the people that bled and sweat the stupid ques to get the gear. I will never not have an issue with someone being able to get the rank 44 chest with 6 wins if he does it once a day. That is a joke and is just plain stupid.

They've taken our prestige from Kirin mount, savage titles, relic weapons, and now pvp rank; but there's one thing a tryhard always keeps...

Our ADS mount? I hope they add more mounts I have done 960 games with 425 wins so I want something higher up ^_^
