Deployment Tactics is a raid skill?

Depends what damage is incoming. People already stack for Cure 3 on huge raidwide damage, so you can easily get a DT out as well if people are stacking. (6y radius on Cure 3, 10y on DT. That's a full diameter of Shadow Flare if you need a comparision.)

So the skill is only useful if players stack, and useless otherwise. I'll stick to what covers everyone.

When you'd need it, players are stacking anyway.

What situation are we talking about? Dungeons? Raids? FATEs/Hunts?
In dungeons nothing will hit hard enough for you to actually want to use DT. FATEs and Hunts are mostly the same, and people really stay far apart there, you may not even be able to hit everyone with a succor.
In raids on the other hand people will stack up for huge raid wide damage that needs to be mitigated (or where it's preferable to be mitigated). To give some examples: Megaflare in T9, Electric Burst in T10, Nerve Cloud in T11, Flames of Rebirth in T12, Giga- and Teraflare in T13, Stomps in Titan HM and EX.
There's not really any content that is hard on healers so far in 3.0, doesn't mean DT will be useless when that content arrives.

I'm not asking you to have all this trouble again, but I'd like to know how much an Adlo would heal with dissipation plus all those buffs...

Deployment Tactics is a tactical skill that is much like Cure III. It has its uses and it's pretty good, but there aren't an abundance of situations that require you to go "I need DT over Succor" each time.

If you gauge a situation where you can use DT over Succor, then you use DT. If you gauge a situation where you can use C3 over 2x Medica (potency vs. range)*, then you use C3. It's simple as that. And you don't need to test what ami said. You just simply replace all situations that required Succor, Sacred Soil, Stoneskin, Virus, Fey Convenant and whatever else stacking mitigation you had and throw in DT. :/

*C3 over Medica x2 meaning people aren't stacked or are too slow for C3 to hit them all which in results in either multiple single target heals, healer partner covering those who were missed with C3 or you're safeguarding with overhealing (slightly) by making up positionals for a large AoE-radius heal.

I just place the faerie in the centre of a pull in dungeons, cast adlo on her and e4e and then DT, viola! You can control where it goes, I love the mitigation it does due to faerie taking less AoE damage, it can also sit in AoE to help proc it with some mobs, and tanks and melee (usually me also > w <) also get it! Yayyy! I love it, it's mana conservant and gives me more time to dps while rewarding me for micromanaging my pet :3

I use DT as often as possible when there is a swarm of adds incoming. IE: Ravana butterflies.

Can also just Adlo/E4E your pet and position her in a manner that hits most of the players with DT.

Can't see myself using it on a tank much to bait higher heal/crit unless we're talking situations where no damage is going out prior to raid-wide damage.

Sorry to necro this thread, but I was unable to post here when I first saw the link of a 7k Adlo. Was 100% sure I could do better, and here it is.

8252 Adlo- that's a 16,504 Galvanize.
An effective heal of 24,756. Ouchies.

Edit (apologies for the laziness of my screenshot name concealing. By the time i was done carefully covering names in the chat log, i was completely over it haha)
Edit 2: Forgot to share buffs used. Defiance, Convalescence, Mantra, Fey Illumination, Dissipation, X-Potion of Mind (HQ), Battle Litany, Crit food.
Could of gone higher with a Draconian pot and MND party buff. Will likely play around with it again sometime soon as I just got a whole 52 more crit :3
