holy shit.... I've been waiting for new sets of PvP gears for a year and now I'm getting these boring gears. what's wrong with outfit designing in this game? it's getting worse and worse.

When I saw the MCH weapon I asked myself, "SE are you even trying?" I swear that's a sub 50 leveling weapon

Gauss Barrel is gonna look hideous on that thing, and GB is shitastic looking as it is

Why is everything about bards, always? I'm a machinist and i feel offended! I'm a mage gunner too! LOL

I guess I'll be spending my Wolfmarks on the new PVP weapons then... and perhaps the helmets. With the rank 45 set, it was nice having different sets for each class though it did get cumbersome on my inventory. Even the belt/waist was separate for each class (so one for WHM, one for SCH, one for AST) whereas for other gearsets, casters/healers/tanks have common gear. That was the downside, the upside of course is individuality that came from different looks between the sets (especially all the DPS ones). The Ninja set, Dragoon set were very distinctive from each other for example, vs. sharing a generic 'melee' look. Some people liked some of the sets and hated others, but that's where having personal choice comes into play.

I guess what it comes down to is if you're going to get the gear for the stats, then having more of it be shareable is ideal.... if it's for glamour, having them be unique is better. I'm guessing earlier on it will be the former, and later once we have a wider variety of gearing options at higher levels, it will be the latter.

I think that this gear definitely fits with new BRD gameplay.

You have the exact same problems Bards do, but you always had them so it's okay.
