I'm using duck eggs for Dodo Egg/Apkallu Egg recipes, since real dodos are in short supply!

No, I haven't had any formal training, but I've read cookbooks and watched cooking shows. Cooking is just my hobby :)

Sohm Al Tart should be fun to make. I'm interested to see what you use for an Eft Steak. xD

I'm between a rock and a hard place on this one.
The FF14 recipe for hollandaise sauce is incomplete. It needs white wine reduction with the yokes but I don't know if I want to complicate the recipe in the game any more than it is. Also a pinch of salt when you add the juice. Anyone up for more Rock salt gathering? Last but not least, lime juice is better than lemon but really, I've used both so it isn't like it won't work.
Back to your secondary hobby, it will take you longer to make the reduction than it will to make the hollandaise sauce. It should be cold when you add it.

So you said you're about 15 recipes in...how do they taste? I saw that on reddit and was wondering if they came out tasting good or not.

So far, I haven't made anything that I wouldn't make again. (I'm dubious about things like Eel Pie and Urchin Loaf which I've never made before, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there.) My favorites of the things I've made so far are probably Spinach Quiche and Honey Muffins.

OH MY GAWD! This is amazing, following. :3 I always say to people how yummy a lot of the food sounds in game. :Q

A few of those recipes look difficult to replicate. Eft (newt) tails aren't exactly large enough for a satisfying meal.

I could go for Steamed Catfish any day.
