Please give us an option to hide Gauss Barrel.

Can someone post a screenshot? Don't think I've seen it up close in-game before.

I thought everyone liked pretending they had the R-Type Option on the end of their guns... Even though ones where it doesn't make much sense like the those that are gunblades (I know there's at least one gunblade, saw it yesterday. Blue Steel or something like that).

I can understand the design of it, anyway. They couldn't do an extended barrel because the shape of the barrel on different gun models isn't the same. Some are larger than others, like the giantsgall knif

Doubt it. A change like this would be good for MCN... though personally I can't believe anyone even notices it while in combat... combat is so detached. But unless the particular summoner is whiny as sin and deserves to be taped to a chair and locked in a basement until pet glamours, this nor any other non-huge QoL should be fine... Get that chip of your shoulder son!

Personally I understand them when they say they all need animations... but if you're going to bother making animations for all of them IDK why no just... add them.. but whatever >_>

Edit: Okay, I see how its noticeable now lol. I kinda... like it... but it does feel wierd when it becomes a Hoverbarrel on shorter weapons.

That's like all summoners ever, tbh. Which is silly, of course, but when they get akh freakin' morn and are still mad, something is very silly indeed.

I'm not saying changing gauss barrel would be bad. I wouldn't call it good, since it doesn't really help anything... but I am saying it'd be very low-priority if anything, and making an attachment barrel would be implausible due to the different size and shape of the barrel. The graphic for the attachment would have to be different for different gun models, or else you'd end up with floating barrels or attachments shoved down a gun barrel bigger than it and just sort of floating in it, or just... clipping wrong in general and looking like a cylindrical bayonet.

Yea GB look hideous. The attachment does not fit well with most guns. I also hate the MCH left sided box. Why not have 3 small Allagan looking orbs tide together with a leather rope that hangs off the side? The box looks to much like a SMN/SCH book. I feel the designer team didn't put a lot of effort in to this.

As you can see Sir, I am myself a SMN. But I mean, most SMNs I've come across are quite happy now. I hate to use this phrase but its really just a loud whiny minority complaining about glamours. I think most of us want them (I just want to use Carbuncle....), but a lot of us are quite patient.

Except for Carbuncle. no excuses, he already has all his animations I want ma carbuncle ;;

Nah you're totally right, it's a super loud whiny minority. I just don't want them to whine any more.
