Indeed about T3 Procs. I figured the best time to use a proc was after the F1 during your rotation or inside your UI. It is worth to note that T3P is always worth inside the UI3 instead of casting B1 or T1.

Could use swiftcast on B4 or F4 to "save" cast time (as both cast times are 3 seconds - reducing it to the 2.5 GCD). But in the opener its better on F3 because its a 3.5 second cast - that is a saving of 1 second :)

Also, spellspeed is better on higher cast time spells (larger reduction).

It seems on the live Letter they are making adjustements for Enochian and make Thunder more viable in the rotation. REJOICE BROTHERS AND SISTERS <3

I can just imagine them just making Thunder have a higher proc rate under Enochian so we'll be further tempted by the Thunderstorm procs we can't use. Anyways.. I don't really see the point of using swiftcast in the opener IF you can precast the Fire 3 to hit as the tank pulls. Hard casting that Fire 3 should result in more DPS in the opener. If it's a situation where precasting is not possible then the Swift Cast will indeed be a DPS gain.

The actual use of Swiftcast in the opener is to allow the use of Enochian and Raging Strikes during the Swiftcasted Fire 3 cooldown. If you use them after hard-casting F3 you'll lose around 2 seconds before you can start casting Fire I.

But you lose 2.5 seconds by Swiftcasting the F3.

Swift cast takes about 0.5 seconds to make F3 a 3.5 sec cast into 2.5. This saves you 0.5 Seconds and since you are weaving 2 OGCD on the downtime. You save 1.5 seconds easily.

You gain about 2 seconds Swiftcasting F3 ;o

I am talking purely from a precasting point of view on a pull:

Swift: Fire 3 hits (2.5s GCD) you weave in 2 off GCD and start your Fire 2.5 seconds after your Fire 3 hits.

Hard cast: Fire 3 hits, you hard cast 2 off GCD taking at most 1.5 seconds in total. You cast your Fire 1.5 seconds after your Fire 3 hits

In both of those situations, your Fire 3 hit at the same moment so only what comes after it counts, also the two casual buffs you use beforehand won't wear off for both cases so that's also irrelevant.

You are wrong when you say both situation are similar. Your way is actually better.

If cooldowns are used like this, RS will hit F3 Proc + all 6 Fire IV. Your potion will also hit 5 Fire IV and Fire 3 Proc. THis will be change soon enough xD Thanks for making me realize that!
