It's because it depends on what you are trying to collect. Higher level items require more perception for the same amount of collectibility.

While thats true, I dont think its the answer here. I tested this rotation on cloud bananas, which are already the highest level collectibles.(?)
That said, if we know what it was used on we can give a better answer.
392 means a base meth hit of 87, which is quite low.
See my earlier post. If your (unbuffed)meth hits for less then the values I posted (100 for the first rotation, 90 for the second);
then you will need to raise your perception untill it does meet those minimum requirements.
I will do some new tests to see the minimum perception requirements for those then.
Im guessing Clary Sage is Ephemeral, since those work a bit different; ill test the stats for Morel instead.
Morel (lvl 59):
501 perception = 87 meth hit.
522 perception = 96 meth hit.
Answer: raise your perception to 535~ to use either of the rotations I posted, or raise it to 510~ to be able to use just the second one.
