Will Savage Alexander have a raid lockout?

I'm not really worried about how the loot will work at the moment as much as I am worried about how the lockout will work. I want to be able to play with more than 1 group to help friends without having to level up an alt to do it.

I recall them saying that Savage lockout will be like how Coil used to be before it got added to DF. Can't re-enter encounters you've already beaten that week.

Do you happen to have a source for this?

I hope it isn't outright locked out.

Why? Because at present I am bored.

-No relic weapon for 3.0 yet, sort of disspaointing and I was excited for it
-No new tomestones for yet another 2 weeks
-Current law gear I have fully geared out SMN and SCH in i179. What is there left to grind? Ravana? There are so few PF groups/people that beat Bismark EX that this is a joke to me. (That is ignoring the fact I'd literally be grinding Ravana for a weapon with 3 more magic damage and like 3 mind more than the current i180 law weapon which has a buttload of piety on it so can be argued to be better for new raids like Alex!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

-Oh and let me not forget / leave out my machinist has been proven to be a total flop and gets me and others kicked from parties.


SOOOOOOOOOOOO I really hope it isn't locked out or they add the relic weapon or SOMETHING. SOMETHING PLEASE. Adding Alex but having it locked out is... eugh.

Alex normal is pretty much confirmed to have no lockout. Alex Savage is where we don't know for certain. Thats why i'm hoping to find out. I'm crossing my fingers and praying to the Community SE team in hopes that maybe they can respond or clarify on this! More than just "July 10th".

Hmm, thought I read it somewhere recently and this is always what someone's answer was when someone asks in an LS "Is Alexander Savage gonna have a lockout?" Well anyway, sadly we'll just have to wait until the 10th :(

If your doing alex savage id get the 190 wpn 3 magic damage is huge. If not the 180 wpn is prob already overkill.

Even still you would probably be better off getting 190 weapon now. There is a chance Alexander NM won't have a weapon.

the fact we dont know much about savage loot or lockout systems concerns me alot. why are they still hiding such an information? thats not really a spoiler. it would just be a relief to be free from the terror of weekly rng. the fact that they are so silent yet about it could mean they put RNG again and are trying to hide something. i hope i am wrong tough. that would really kill my will to raid again.
