What makes you think they aren't upgradeable? We won't know that for sure until they're actually out.

A lot of people don't realize this. Alex isn't very far away, it'll be fairly easy and definitely won't require full i180 (at least for the first few turns). You really don't need to sweat the grind, at least not until Esoterics.

Alexander normal certainly shouldn't require full i180.

Alexander Savage... well, that's another question; but depending on what stuff Normal drops, the existance of Esoterics, and how far in the future Savage is supposed to last the best groups, you may either have alternate gearing paths to get ready for or are basically going to require full Esoterics gear to have a shot at anyway.

Everyone knows that the current law gear is garbage and will be throw away in a few weeks.

Everyone should know this at least.

I personally upgraded it fully on two characters just for the hell of it- I managed to join 8 hunt linkshells and it became easy and not too bad. Toxic? YES. Just turn of ALL chats if they get flamey.

I don't know what Alex normal mode drops but it is likely to be equivalent or better to the current stuff.

Yup, I hate hunts so I don't even go near them and just do my dailies. Already upgraded my weapon and chest, probably just going to get enough for the ring so I can get a second.

Working on Ravana atm, so gear is good enough for now, don't even need full upgraded law... alexander and esoterics will come :)

I would grind all the dungeons they need. All day. For 8 hours. But I just can't bring myself to hunt. Every time I do I lose it after about 20 minutes. If they need people doing dungeon content for new players, open the dungeon option up.

Do dailys, longer but steady.

Also the grind is kinda short, just dont do it for all classes :p

I threw in the towel on hunts looooong before this expansion and knew better than to try to pick them back up again. The daily and weekly rewards are enough. Upgrade your weapon, chest, legs, ring, and be done with them. Like someone else said, this Law gear is going to be outdated fairly quickly in the next 2-3 weeks. Why bust your butt for something so unnecessary and easily replaced?

I'm just waiting for the constant complaining about how pointless their gear is once Alexander NM comes out.

BUT a fair note: You can only get one piece a week. So, for people who want their gear as topped off as possible for the Savage Mode... eh still not worth doing the active hunts. I'm just a bit sad I forgot to do them for a day. Oh well =\
