Iron Giant. It would have its sword flat on its shoulds, held with one arm, and we would stand on it, leaning on its helmet.

A diremite mount!
Imagine lounging on its back on cushions and hanging above you from it's tail is a gauzy umbrella with curtains. I may do a quick mockup of this later to post.

Or maybe a sandskin peiste pulling this behind it!
