SE~ Pet System! Mount System!

All the mounts should be chocobos, it would not be FF to have anything else really. Now different kinds of chocobos would be nice.

Mounts - Chocobos only.

Pets - Beastmaster class.

If you really want to capture the OCD spirit of everyone and get them addicted, just give the beastmaster and additional ability to catch and train monsters just like Pokemon. Then, let them battle other players, or other beastmasters' pets in the Uldah coliseum like in Dragon Quest 8.

As far as pets go...Shepard or Beastmaster/Animist are fine. Everything else just seems a little me too...ish. Now different types of chocobos being put into the game (flying, running, jumping?), I can get behind.

BST and Chocobos, all a FF game needs, let those other MMOs keep their silly large assortment of retarded mounts.

Yeah guys, i see the point of just having chocobos now. As others metioned, would be nice if we can have more customizations including the armours system on chocobos.

In a word, no. In longer terms, why is this even relevant or necessary? Really? Vanity pets are just that: for your vanity. In other words, something to add on your e-peen to brag about. Quite frankly, if you need electronic data to stroke your ego, you probably need some counseling in regards to your self-esteem issues.

Basically, people who want cool looking mounts/pets, are exactly same as people who wants cool looking armours/weapons. We want more varieties of armours/weapons/mounts/pets, not neccesary to brag, but to have more eye candy to make the games look more lively, more choice for everyone, etc. If you think it is only for bragging, then you probably see things from a very narrow view.

A wider variety of intricate Yoshida style art based weapons and armor? Yes please.
Chocobos in a variety of colors and armor since we'll be in the middle of a war (Wings of the Goddess/Tactics/XII)? Yes please.

But just random pets that really dont do anything, thats just a little too much of a me too thing. Sure, other games have great ideas and it would be awesome for Yoshi-P and his team to take inspiration from that, but vanity pets are a bit much. Now if they put an FF spin on it (used it to decorate your own personal area) then maybe.

you got be kidding whem you say tigers , bears etc lol ... this isn't WOW .... Chocobos only please !! It's FF ... All we need are the yellow birds ;)
