In my opinion I don't think the glow is attractive. I thought we were done with adding glow to weapons, now we have to deal with glowing characters.
Name an aura in game that drains a resource. Now can you understand it's purpose for standing out? Yes it needs to follow effect rules though. Tone down no I barely notice between all the other stuff happening in the middle of a fight. As far as drk aura up for the debate it's not. Those are a small amount of people.
I'm for paladin glow if oaths drain mana.
Those are songs and the only thing brd uses mana for.
Paladins in WoW have auras, maybe you should go there with the rest of the people you condemned in that stupid thread of yours. Huehuehue.
No but really they just need to get rid of those massive auras all together. They look obnoxious. If you're arguining for it as a visual indicator and you really feel the BUFF ICON TELLING YOU YOU'RE IN EACH OATH DOESN'T CUT IT then MNKs need it (on top of the auras they already have) and healers need it for cleric stance, AST is gonna need it for sects, etc. You know, because they need it, because obvious buff icons don't cut it. Not because we need all of these obnoxious particle effects so we can feel even more like we're playing that MMO you just ripped on. No, we need them.
But it being a visual q makes sense because one it drains a resource that you need to use certain abilities. Two nothing you mentioned drains a resource at all. Buff icon works but guess what? Warrior aura has a buff icon. Where is the outrage? I'll wait. This is why it takes a mass amount of likes to get things done. People throw out comments without thought.
