Ground mounts need some serious upgrades!

Because flying is your faster speed in Heavensward areas, while ARR doesn't really need it.

All I ask for is a flying mount roulette feature!

So you think it's weird to ask for mount speeds in an MMO, especially one that has massive zones? Like come on, have you not played any other MMO? It's a perfectly normal idea.

All I'm saying, ground mounts should still be a viable option in future for people who actually like to admire the zone. It shouldn't be an "intended" idea to create dead-ends for ground mounts. Place some rocks, so we could climb the damn heights instead of taking huge detours. Add some upgradable mount speeds. Why is a chicken moving faster than a tiger? Sigh.

The zones were designed with flying in mind, they aren't going to add in anything to make it easier on the ground. As well your last comment has no meaning since if they did increase mount speed the chicken would still move faster than the tiger.

As well just because you are flying doesn't mean you can't take in the zone. You can fly pretty low if you wish.

let crafters make the upgrades for ground mounts special armor that needs a 5 star crafter to complete which will enable original mounts to move 1.5 times faster if they were to go too fast you would miss where you were going

take it with a grain of salt.

I will agree where making the land only have one point to reach a destination is quite annoying. Too many times, I tried to get to a higher ground, or just somewhere in general for the numerous quests, only to be forced to walk all the way around the long jutted out land to find a path up, when it would've been easy to have another on the other side. Very irritating, especially since you go to those locations so many times in the area.

and it's not like you'll visit the old zones for hunts, fate, leves, gathering, or even future content patches for at least one more year?

Could always just add spirit to ground mounts

It is what it is, the whole I idea was to force players to complete all the MSQ in that area b4they could fly and the maps themselves were designed with flying in mind.

What I want is SE to make some of the old ground mounts that look like they could fly capable of it, The bomb seat for example.
