i always wanted to ride a Dak in ffxi them red dragons in blm zone wotg, lol brain farting the name mount something.
dodo's would be funny to ride in this game i love how they flap there little wings when they running away from you lol.

I want to be sitting backwards on a dodo mount. It is only fitting.

As mentioned, I would love to see a mechanical mount based on empire tech.
I imagine boars and drakes being some of the first alternate mounts simply because they have a shape that seems reasonable enough to put a saddle on it.

Lalas could always commission one of their retainers to carry them on their shoulders.

This is Final Fantasy. We're only ever going to get to ride Chocobos.
