Quest Mobs: Heavensward

Only thing I can suggest is fight mobs one at a time or bring some buddies along.

If anything, try getting better gear. Work on the poetics and work with the weekly CT to upgrade it. Eventually you'll be able to take on enemies normally, albeit at the beginning you will have to be aware of your rotations and your cooldowns. Heavensward is supposed to be a bit more difficult than your average faceroll mob you find in A Realm Reborn maps, so make sure you're prepared before going in.

@Nadira When it becomes frustrating, taking a small break from the game helps. Especially if it's something that works similar to Titan(Ravana). Story Duties have a level sync added, so you can come back to them later if they're too hard for you. Another way to bypass it is to obtain better gear, work on rotations, etc.

I'm leveling BLM and I get hit for 500 dmg on average.

I wasn't having any trouble one-on-one as summoner but I was using Ifrit rather than Titan so things die faster. Focus on one target at a time instead of using bane or pain flare. I also keep the pet on Obey so it doesn't do the AOE move and accidentally grab extra things. Don't forget Rouse and Spur.
