It's almost like using the term "otaku" to describe yourself when in actuality it's very demeaning and you really shouldn't do that..........

"Weeaboo" everytime I see it addressed to someone is when you like Japanese media so much you pretend you are also Japanese, maybe even a Japanese anime character
it's essentially the english equivalent of an "anime otaku".

Imagine, your 11th grade anime-loving classmates... etc, etc.

And also "you're" and "your" made me cringe.

Weeaboo is a free title given to anyone of any race, except maybe Japanese (living in Japan) , since "otaku" already applies to them.
