I agree with you cause my fc is only me and my husband. So i would like to know the answer to this as well.

Honestly, ever thought that many companys are close friends/family and do not want more people?
Instead of having virtually no material costs and requiring 4 crafters, they should've gone with a signficantly higher material costs (more player theoretically can gather and afford much more materials), resulting in a overall faster (or cheaper) completion for higher populated guilds, while only requiring one crafter, so that even the low number companys can craft these things.
Right now I am the only crafter of my FC, if we can't ask for help of other players then we will never see an airship
And I thought that the airship's combustible would be our biggest problem
I'm the same way. My friend and I created the guild so we could easily help each other. We've both tried joining guilds ran by others in past games and it just never felt right. We like helping others and teaming up but we just don't feel comfortable letting others join yet.
Guess we'll see how this feature plays out soon enough.
I wonder if there will be a warning, before actually clicking to purchase the workshop, that 4 crafters are needed? I can see people buying it only to be disappointed to have wasted the Gil because they don't have 4 crafters :(
As 1 of only 2 crafters in my FC, I'm very glad I found out about this now. The first thing I was going to do when I log in was to buy the workshop and explore what I could do with it.
Hopefully they eventually release airship workshops for personal housing. This is going to be just like gardening in an FC. Only a few members will ever take part in this content while everyone else will be left out. There's only 4 airships that can be sent out and likely the FC leader will set permissions and rules so only certain people can use them and use them the way they want them to.
Where did it say we'd need four crafters, if I may ask? This is unsettling news, as our FC is only a good friend and myself, and like some other posters, we prefer to keep it that way.
