im from 1.0 and bought arr from steam and se says got buy hw from someone else

And this is where the problem comes in? When you try to input that code into the Mogstation? How to register:
1. Steam users who have pre-ordered FINAL FANTASY XIV: Heavensward on Steam can find their 20-digit Early Access code by navigating to their game library and selecting “FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn.” On the right-hand side of the game page, find the “Links” section and select “CD key.” The 20-digit early access code will be listed there, starting with “RF2A.”

2. Log in to the Mog Station (http://sqex.to/Msp) using the Square Enix Account you wish to participate in early access with.

3. Select the "Your Account" tab on the top-left corner of the screen.

4. Select the service account you wish to register your code on. If you have multiple service accounts (represented as tabs named FINAL FANTASY XIV 1, 2, etc.), please select the service account you wish to register your code to. If you only possess one service account, proceed to Step 5.

Oh I know, ^^ I also played 1.0, I'm just making sure whether or not he also decided to purchase ARR regardless.

Ah! It says so right there. You can't enter the full game registration code until June 19, but you -can- enter the preorder code. Is this your issue, or something else? I'm sorry if it isn't D:

Still, registering the Steam version shouldn't have invalidated the stand-alone registration.
