If I were to hazard a guess the actual registration process with a registration code should be fine. The problem with the PSN store is that Sony has the store designed to prevent people buying the same license twice (with good reason). It also prevents you buying 'DLC' for games you don't own. My guess is that the upgrade from PS3 to PS4 versions of the client didn't flag anything on the PSN store so it still thinks people own a PS3 client and never bought a PS4 version.Quote:

I too did the upgrade from ps3 to ps4 on 3 of my accounts and all 3 of them show me able to buy upgrades to Heavenward for ps3 but on the ps4 side it shows the problem everyone else is seeing. ON a different note I am on the phone with Sony as we speak and they are aware of this problem. They are still doing maintenance as we speak and have already a note about this very issue when you call in. They were able to verify my ps4 eligibility as of April 4, 2014. I am confident this will get sorted out very soon.

Normally you register a code and the psn store just says download next to the game however with FFXIV it says 59.99 to purchase. However your service list might show a date of when you registered the code but that is totally different from what PSN has stored for the STORE. lol too many store wordsQuote:

Now my concern is that since I bought it the product says "Playable in 20 days", but in the description it says an early access is available....
