PC here, but have played using a gamepad since 2010. Dualshock 3 for 1.0, Dualshock 4 for 2.0.

Bought the PS3 edition of ARR when it came out for the heck of it and also because I wanted some sort of box for ARR. Upgraded my PS3 access to PS4 access once I got a PS4, partially because the PS3 version was too slow in certain areas for my personal taste. PS4 version felt much better.

Unfortunately, I eventually lost interest in the PS4 altogether, and since I have my PC hooked up to the same TV as the PS4 was, and I play with a PlayStation 4 controller on PC anyway, FFXIV wasn't enough to stop me from selling the PS4 to a friend. Nintendo's the only one with exclusives I seem to enjoy anymore, and all the 3rd party titles I'm interested in also typically get PC releases, so I just felt like an idiot having a perfectly good PS4 just sitting there. My friend plays the crap out of Destiny on it now.
