Decent server to switch to?

I don't really blame you for considering a transfer, but why don't you make an alt on another server instead before you decide? Best to experiment and play around on free alts rather than shell out real money just on hearsay.

I greatly enjoy Balmung. I have heard good things about Gilgamesh as well, however.

Any of the legacy servers are very active. Hyperion has a lot of cool and friendly people, it's busy and locked quite often but usually in offpeak hours it opens up if you want to make an alt there.

My recommended Server is Shiva, (mine obviously). It's an EU server, which does mean that there are quite a few Dutch speaking people, but there is plenty of English players as well. I'm from NA, and joined Shiva from a recommendation I received when I bought the game. I can confirm that the community is both active and friendly on it, and if you do join you're welcome either my small FC, or I know a couple of good other ones that I can recommend.....

EDIT: I will also add that the RMT spam is pretty docile compared to other servers. We get maybe one or two friend requests a day on average, hardly every any tells or shouts, and only recently have I seen any players at all using /say at the aetherytes......

If you are a raider, I would recommend Gilgamesh. Server is always busy and there are a lot of good end game FC as well.

In the end I haven't really raided, but kind of want to get into it. My biggest issue is, there is less than three weeks left and I am currently not even done with the MS. I'm trying my best right now to beat it before the xpac comes out in between a full time job xD.

Basically if I can find a friendly, talkative guild that raids here and there then that would be awesome~ I'm kind of iffy about Balmung though as I don't rp.

Hey brianna. Join Balmung. There are a lot of players that dont rp but enjoy to read the rper stories ( i don't rp but read what they say in public) I can help you with your MS when i am online)

You definitely don't have to be an RPer to have fun on Balmung. I don't RP and I love the server.

Famfrit is where I met a wonderful person.

But the players seem OK. I don't join FCS anymore so can't speak on that.
