What is your favorite barding?

My favorite has been the Ul'dah Crested Barding. Partly because I'm a proud Immortal Flame, but also because its one of the few bardings that looks like armor and not a costume.

I wish this was just a barding. I love my legacy boco, but I wish I could summon it to battle. Since I cant, I usually go with the Dragoon or Leviathan bardings.
Speaking of Dragoon barding, how does one get the WHM or PLD bardings after your Chocobo hits Rank 10? I chose Dragoon's first and Im already Rank 12 with it now, but never got any other bardings.

You need to continue leveling to unlock the other bardings. As you fill out the other trees, their bardings will be awarded.

On topic though, I honestly don't like any of the barding styles, and tend to run my chocobos with just the leg guards. Of those, eerie is my favorite, but I'm also partial to the sleipnir, gambler, behemoth, and dragoon boots.

Agreed, the tattoo and feathers should be a legacymark toggle like our own tattoo - and the barding be a barding. It's awkward how much sense it makes lol. "Barding should be barding, my chocobo should be my chocobo".

After your beautiful boco hits rank 10 you get your next bardings at rank 16 and 20 (you can max each category at rank 20 at least, and 16 being the 2nd possible opportunity to max a category).

Head : Gamble Barding
Body : Ice Barding
Leg : Dragoon Barding

Paramour hat and otherwise nekkid is my preference.

White Mage Barding Legs and Body, Valentiones Head. The little pink and white beanie is too hipster for my more refined tastes in fashion. So I replaced it fancy pants top hat.

Ul'dah crested barding. Reminds me of an armored war horse or something. Overall just a good design.
