So If I wipe and reinstall the whole thing, it might fix this? I don't really want to have to go through hours of reinstallation if it won't help :(

In my case (and few people also) full reinstall resolved problem. But there is no guarantee, that next update/hotfix in future will be free of that problem (messing files with version numbers).

uhhh a p.i.t.a then... I'll attempt a full reinstall and pray it works! Will be gutted if I can't get on tonight!

I think the PSN versions aren't redeemable yet the lodestone says the windows version is could that be the problem?

If it wasn't redeemable, it'd not have downloaded? And I got the email saying that the code needed to be input via the PSN store :S

Doesn't mean it's up yet didnt some one say it's not registering because something's incomplete. The post on the loadstone said they would send an email once psn version is redeemable.

Its pretty stupid that it isn't yet I mean the preorders wer way over a month ago why haven't they finalized them with psn yet.

No. Problem is with application bug (launcher?) that messing local files (on PS4 and PC). On PC you can edit these files (solution in other thread), on PS4 - you cant editing local files. Source of game is non important. Problem is with and without HS addon.

Well that's why I assumed it was done, because I saw the FB post yesterday about the windows one being up but when I checked emails and my SE account ths morning it told me to register the code on psn... When I did it downloaded and installed perfectly fine - which I assumed wouldn't have happened until the service was active (I tried when the codes were originally emailed and it said it didn't exist..

It's currently running first time set up again. If not I'll have to go into my system settings and wipe absolutely everything, then do 7 months of updates :(

Dont remove both settings files (system and character name) from system settings. There are important things - gear sets, macros, GUI settings, crosshotbar settings and so on. Remove game only from PS4 desktop options.

Thanks, that's what I did, deleted it from the XMB and re-inserted the disk, it was running original setup and I thought that was the HW setup as I didn't go through settings.
But it's now downloading 2014.04.21.0000.0002 so yeaah.... A long afternoon of downloading and waiting :(

Can I at least go and play something else while I wait? :( I had hunts and Ixal quests waiting for today, not going to get it before refresh now :(
