I tried to report this double decline bug but got the old "no comprendo"

Probably that happened because it isn't a bug. The system is working the way it was designed. It was just designed badly.

The double decline thing really does need to change.
It's...such a pain.

Seriously, it's a small inconvenience, but when there's a bunch of small inconveniences happening at once, it makes a huge difference.
