That's stupid. what is the point of that? Using that kill to NM's who for all we know will retain a separate claiming restriction (like they do now which is unique to them).

Certainly would be absolutely useless in XP Parties as only the engaged party gains XP.

If they can make it so NM's are unable to assisted currently when every other mob is, why could they reasonably not do that in 1.19?

Even if they did not implement this very simple fix to their system I hope you are using that scenario to farm for your gladiators/con's only because you still can't hand out drops outside of the party as far as I know. I wouldn't mind some zerg fights though, plenty of HNMls tried zerging in XI and plenty of them still wiped to Serket. I could live with Yoshi's motto of letting people play how they want, and are going to anyways: if they want to power level- fine, or zerg mobs-(assuming that is going to be allowed) then let them do it, at least finally linkshells with more than 8 people online could do stuff together until we get real alliance content.

Either way you cut it at least it's not Tanaka's "*&^% you go back to XI, this game is for casuals" mentality. I'll take "all inclusive" over exclude my playstyle any day.
