What was your last PVP Ragequit?

OH we're discussing WD now? i'm confused because FL is what we were initially referring to in the first place. you're completely off-base. but that's fine! Literacy is not meant for everybody,but I'm afraid your comprehension skills seems to be quite lacking as well. Rather than troll everybody on this forum with some sooty remark, it would do you well to reread the original posters comments, which were clearly based on a frustrating event he had in a "PVP Slaughter Match" last night. You're the only one who seems to be talking about WD. and i do play, every day

Hint: the subject matter of the post is about an event that took place in a PVP slaughter match.

Last i checked, good usage of purify (not to mention the entire topic at hand) applies to both FL and Den xD

There are times where using Purify to break Sleep is acceptable and even a good plan. It depends almost entirely on how time sensitive the actions you were taking when you were slept are.

I don't get dotted up (3+ DoTs) all too often. If I waited to use Purify for only those moments, I'd use it maybe twice per match. There's opportunity cost to waiting on using a CD, and, in my experience in Frontlines, it's generally not worth waiting too long.

Anyway, on the topic of the thread, I don't ragequit groups. I never have, and I never will. I'm always the last few members in any party that falls apart in PvE, and I've never once left a PvP match. If I ever quit a group, it's because the group has already quit.

Nothing bothers me more in this game than people who give up and drop a group at the first sign or struggle or after a wipe or two. I'd rather have a party of completely new players who persist until the end than a party of godmode-run-expecting veterans who get pissy when things start going sour.

Sure, i perhaps worded my initial post badly, but using a 2.5 min cooldown skill because the healer wont esuna is extremely wasteful

That I can agree with. I'll usually wait out sleep if no Esuna is incoming. Exceptions to that come when I was doing something time sensitive, though, such as a push for a kill on a healer or a particularly troublesome DPS/Tank. In such cases, I'd waste Purify even on a root or stun effect.

I haven't ragequit yet, but Facepalm moments? Most common..

24player secure:

A teammate(s) insists on going mid early so we can 'farm ramps' as the other factions come up.

Said teammate(s) proceed to stand in the very center of Heliodrome or spread out too thin while waiting.

They result in getting doubleteamed and overwhelmed when the other factions arrive and are wiped out, drones/node immeadiately spawn after deaths,

then they top off the sundae with a cherry of complaints about poor healing. GG

I try to save Purify in Slaughter mode for when I find myself slept or bound with a LB AOE under my feet. Or to get a healer out of trouble so they can get back to healing vs clearing debuffs off themselves or if they're slept.

I'm not even going to debate what's in the latest post re: the match I quit from because too many of the details are incongruous with what I remember. Though it's kinda funny, from the tone of the post it sounds like they've already picked out a corner in the GC landing area to make me stand in the next time we end up there at the same time.
