Capes will look like crap, period. That's not my personal opinion, that's just a fact, adding capes that look good is a load on processor which is why i said only a couple single-player games can pull it off, no nobody should be allowed to wear a carboard triangle on their back as a representation of the game, this is not an opinion, it's a fact, because it looks ugly as hell.

In the same vein as the argument for having capes, toggle display, etc. they could also add in a different type of equipment slot altogether, using a smaller model, cutting down on development and design time, and not have to worry about spec changes or anything of the sort... So... +1 to No capes here.

screw capes and cloaks.
JUST GIVE THE ARMOR and HEAVY ARMOR shoulder pads. Stuff looks dumb without it.
Though if you have to put something on the back, id rather have BACKPACKS like from the 'trailer'
1. would make players look more like adventurers
2. would give more space for all the gears we gots. *i have like 65spots of just tools and crafting gear, and 1 set either battle or gathering.* -
