Who is the more Trollish, the troll or the troll who trolls him?

1. He said "High" which is very much above decent for the average everyday player that no PS4 user should ever be ashamed of. 2. He goes on to try and make a jab stating that a Final Fantasy game plays better on PC of all things. Well no duh, it is an MMO. XI played better on PC than PS2, I don't think anyone expects an MMO to be able to run superior on a console than on a PC.
Following the authors advice, I chewed on his second paragraph and found it to be opinionated garbage.
I ask because I haven't seen the option on my ps4 personally.
Obviously the PC version looks a little better graphically.
But the major advantage is being able to play at 60-120fps.
My FPS is at constant 80+fps at all times. It's a great experience on my 120hz monitor.
From my experience, there are very minor differences that don't and shouldn't dissuade anyone from playing on the PS4:
-The PS4 doesn't handle shadow rendering as well as the PC does in terms of rendering multiple casts at once. Zooming out while near many players (say, in Limsa/Hawker's Alley or Mor Dhona/Revenant's Toll) will show that the detailed shadows of other players will shrink to a basic model, whereas when you zoom in, they become detailed again.
-Certain NPCs do not load into the background. It's still a step-up compared to the PS3 version wherein characters will not load unless you stand near them for a period of time, and to actually catch this happening on the PS4 is rare, but it DOES happen.
-In tandem with the above point, the FPS drops to 20-30 when in crowded areas. This is a paltry decrease if you compare it to the PS3, but it's still a detriment nonetheless.
Some people say they've never experienced these things happen or never witnessed anyone else encounter issues. It's important to keep in mind that it's obviously hard to notice these things if you've been console gaming for most of your time; therefore, you don't realize what is different or missing compared to the source material. It may "work" fine for you, but that doesn't mean it was rendered that way to begin with.
I would like to see Square stop supporting the PS3 next year. It's very old hardware is holding the game back for the PS4 and PC players.
It wouldn't be right to drop it this year, give people a little more time to get a PS4, then drop it.
