I felt the same about switching from Midlander to Roe.... Thought I'd "not feel like myself" and that the connection to my char will be lost. Especially cause my Midlander basically looks like my real self. Much, much happier now and wouldn't change Roe for anything :3 (except maybe if they introduced a Qu-like race <3 ).

As for your torubles, I'd say go with the gut feeling. Which of the two makes you smile? As which race do you like roleplaying (not to be taken literally) and try to identify whether it's just nostalgia or guilt that you feel.

The 1.0 Miqote is definitely nostalgia! And my Lalafell always makes me smile when I play her. I make friends easier and feel more comfortable unless people are lala haters and tell me to go away. ;-; Your story of switching to Roe is inspirational though. I remember you as a Midlander and you made the switch to Roe and seem quite happy. Maybe I should take a page from your book.

I have no interest in Au’Ra unfortunately. I think Yugiri is gorgeous! But ear/tail clipping on Miqote already annoys me enough, cant imagine horn clipping issues!

And yes, I agree, Lala is master race! XD

By the pros and cons u listed then I'd choose lalafell, people will get use to u being a lalafell and the other stuff i wouldn't worry about
