Did nobody tell you what you were doing wrong? To refuse to heal somebody without telling them why is just...

I saw this with an archer that wanted to pull everything in a low level dungeon. We kept telling him to stop, but he didn't. SCH threatened to stop healing him several times.
Seems to me that healer was just being a jerk and mean -- there is absolutely no excuse to do the whole "I'm not healing _____" thing when playing with a newer player. If this is your first job and level 23 is your highest, the healer should know it and make sure to help guide you if she sees you doing something wrong, or at least give tips. Every time I do a lower level dungeon to help out FC mates, if we get other newer players I make sure to keep them topped off, especially if they are not synched down.
In the end, just a plainly bad healer with a bad attitude -- that healer doesn't represent what most of us are like ^_^v
Actually yes, plenty of times. I wasn't awesome like I am now when I started playing :D
But I still stand by what I said. Everyone has given a lot of general answers on why the healer may have said what they said but the OP hasn't responded yet to clarify further.
I know of healers who will occasionally refuse to keep healing someone if they repeatedly refuse to respond to basic advice (like "don't pull before the tank" to DPS, or the like). But a healer who just suddenly announces they won't heal someone without having already specified what their issue is, that healer isn't helping anyone and is just being a jerk.
If they don't tell you when you ask just feel free to hang back and let them carry you through the event when you take damage that is significant .... ;)
I'd guess maybe you pulled a few times instead of letting the tank? Or grabbed agro from tank and didn't turn down your attacks until the tank got it back...
The only thing that jumps out at me at that level is if you were running into the electrified water at the second boss in Halitali.
