I've noticed during the more prime hours the queue times take just as long as mornings/weekdays.
Even though there are more players queueing during primetime, the DF is setting up 72player matches instead of 24, which takes longer to fill. So regardless. . Don't queue unless you've got 30mins to sit around first. :/
Some mornings I can get 24player matches after 15-20min queues. That's the best I experience.. (Maelstrom : Aether)
I've given up trying to get into FL for now as Maelstrom on Primal. I'm not willing to wait for hours, unable to do any content that would interrupt the DF.
When Frontlines roulette was first released, I would queue for it with join in progress selected. I noticed that people were getting into Slaughter matches once or twice before I got a queue pop and the majority of time it would be Secure. I therefore just started to queue for Slaughter only and my queue times rapidly increased. I put this down to far fewer people selecting Secure from the PvP menu therefore taking a lot longer to fill the ranks for each GC.
I think another issue could be when some people have all languages selected. If one person has their language set to French/German/Japanese only, it would need 23 more people split across three different GC factions that have all languages selected to fill this. A few times I've done Wolve's Den under one language and forgot to change the next day and friends have got into loads of Slaughter matches before me, until I noticed I was set to French only!
Secure is by far my favourite mode in Frontlines but I prefer getting to PvP over massive queue times. For me, selecting just Slaughter, with English as the only language and join in progress selected has been the fastest for me.

Just seconding what Holic is saying. If you're rank 45 and join the solo queue wolves den event every friday you will get basically instant queues and be in for some good times. GC doesn't matter and it's basically non-stop pvp action!
We welcome all new comers to the arena. It's a learning exp so don't get discourage if you lose a lot, as you get more games in you will improve I can assure of that. :)
I am on Shiva now (for like 2-3 weeks) which I think is Chaos data center, before that I was on Diabolos which is Primal data center. I'm Malstrom and pvp Q is godawful. I feel as if NOBODY plays pvp in this datacenter. I almost always get 24-man matches after waiting for at least 1 hour with usually the same faces, are we the only 8 players across Chaos who play Malstrom pvp or what? I checked last weeks pvp leader boards, it appears on the japanese datacenter they (get to) play way more pvp than here. In the top 100 of Chaos data center the average number of games seems to be around 30-40, when I check the leaderboard for p.e. Elemental they seem to play roughly 70-80 matches, so I think they must have faster Qs. Then again, across all data center leaderboards I hardly see any Malstrom anymore, it's Adders and Legion everywhere. I mean, I'd rather lose every match and not make it into the list than not play pvp at all :( I'm thinking really really hard of switching to a jp datacenter just to be able to play pvp. Then again one of the reasons I left Diabolos was that I wanted to be around players of my own time zone but now I'm sitting on Shiva with endless pvp Q times so the server transfer didn't do well for me in that regard. On Diabolos it wasn't really better because there I was 6-9 hours ahead of everyone but also that was back in December when there was just one pvp map, Qs were really good. I just don't know what the reason is now, no available people, something wrong with the Q or what...
