Dev Blog - April 1st - Minion battles

I wouldn't see this happening anyway because some minions are accessible only through real money purchase (OST minions, cash shop minions). It'd turn into a pay-to-win if they had actual battle content parameters.

You are, and that's the hell of the thing. I'm beside myself right now. There was a thread about this very thing some months back. I intensely want this to be actual, real, playable content down the road.

Hm. Yoshi-P did slip in a real piece of news among the fake posts last year, but this... it sounds too good to be true.

Unfortunately I think the relationship system would never materialize simply because it would "chain their wrists" so to speak about who they could or couldn't do away with for main storyline purposes. The outrage would be loud and real if someone spent a considerable amount of time courting a NPC only for them to be "killed" or gotten rid of in some way.

Sadly, this. I know there's been "minion battle" enthusiasts long before this April Fool's joke came out. Now that it IS an April Fool's joke, its likelihood of ever happening just became that much slimmer...

I still find it funny how they think of these cool ideas which people would like and make it a April Fools joke. Instead they invest in other features which people don't like that much and is pretty brain numbing (hunts im looking at you). Overall good April Fools SE even though im sad this will never be a feature which I wish it was.

I'd never do it, however; I know many people would..much like adding more PVP content... PVE, PVE, MVM. People like it, so why not? It'll cost a raid tier? It'll cost 4 bosses in 6 months?

You are correct. SE can't even make a full raid tier in 6 months(Change this SE....change it) . Let alone fun side content. :(


(Yeah, I did complain about lack of raid bosses per tier despite never completing any, Mostly because not only will what I earn be undesirable next patch, but how I earn it will too)

lol why does everybody have to ruin the joke straight out the gates? Give people some time to get fooled.. before telling them it's for april fools.

Back when they announced Viannga people lost their lids and it was hilarious. Since that everybody just blurts out that it's an april fools joke and nobody gets fooled at all. This could have been a much funnier thread if nobody said it was a joke.
