When will the patch be available?

See kids, whining DOES help! :-)

PS4 version DOES need to update the launcher.

With the new "Rest mode" features we got from PS4 update last week, make sure you quit the game and open it again to update the launcher properly.
I got an error by not doing so but closing the game fixed it.

To clarify, if it wasn't obvious, I've been checking for the patch, so it's done and dusted, so I can begin to cycle the login procedure every 10 minutes until I see a Maintenance Finish Time Change notification, or it logs in.

Considering both http://eu.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone/worldstatus/ and http://arrstatus.com/ have anything between a significant lag, or outright lie, this is the only way to get in asap and start rolling.

Hope I'm clear this time.

just tried on ps4 keeps saying unable to download patch :( just gets stuck on the patching screen lol
