I noticed that too! Maybe his resistance to lightning was so strong, he can now absorb that element? Crazy I know

Too bad high charisma modifier doesn't influence reality checks...

It is pretty similar to what we currently have as a combat system, spamfest, but looking at the vid again.. i can see a few improvements in the vid actually, some good sound effects there, groaning and moaning sounds and ofcourse the almighty Lightning Bolt cry!
Also it seems like a revamped and improved Gridania, more open, less maze-like.
