OH HO! A thestral-like flying mount for BLM... hm. Makes me feel so conflicted. On one hand, it would be great. On the other, I see any such thread about mounts and my first reaction is a silent cry of "NO MORE HORSES PLEASE". Seriously, with all the primal reskins of the same mount, even more so with the increased drop rate, Eorzea is chock full of horses. I can't go anywhere without seeing horses. It's just weird and very obnoxious. And don't get me wrong, I love horses, but it really is...too much. Especially in a game where, according to lore, everything's about chocobos and people barely even know horses. (Remember the Year of the Horse Heavensturn event, anyone?) So yeah, as much as I like the idea of a thestral, I have to say: NO MORE HORSES PLEASE. Not for a good while, anyway.Quote:

A little chunk of dirt with one of those floating crystals at Nym sticking out the bottom, and a big propeller on the back of it.
Floating around in a giant bubble.
Let the kobolds' bomb-chair and ahriman mount fly while in flight-capable zones.
A flock of colibris gripping the player with their feet.
A fishing pole that's hooked into the back of the player's pants, and is lifting them up off the ground. Bonus points if the pole is a fishing achievement reward.
A small one-seater rocket ship like in the old 50's sci-fi movies that looks like it's made of cheese.
A variant of the adamantoise mount that has a bright red shell with a white rim, and wings.
A swarm of different-colored chocobo chicks. The player hovers in the middle tumbling in the air, while a thick cloud of chicks flits all around you.
A miniature Yovra you sit on top of.
A giant rift sailor.
CUL-crafted giant fruit with palm-frond "wings". -
