Pretty sure it's just because if they made them tradeable, then they could be used by RMTs. Even if they restricted card-trading to a special window that didn't allow gil.

An MGP-based Market Board would be interesting. But I don't know; I don't know how much trouble an RMT and their buyers would be willing to go through to find a roundabout way to transfer MGP through it.

I think it's fine if they do leave it this way, but the rates would need to be upped.

300 matches vs friends take 10+ hours of time, thats way more effort than most people had for their tera / bartz card
squall is indeed easy, the others are not

just because you play on a dead server does not mean, that getting a tournament card is somehow easy, with your 1600 score you would have been rank 20 on odin and countless miles away from ligtning, the whole top10 had 1900-2000 pts

cloud, nanamo, warrior of light, zidane are also quite hard to get and need 100 times of the effort than spamming some instances

shantotto also required 3 weeks+ playtime to acquire

Higher than pony droprate, i think
I got already Garuda, Shiva and Ramuh from Zeta light farming
