Heavensward digital pre-order on Amazon.com

Based on what I read directly on Amazon, including the "official" response to the person asking about the preorder codes and what I can gleam from people talking about their interaction with the cs reps, my guess would be that the reps just simply have no idea what the preorder code is and believe it to be a separate thing or product that differs from preordering the expansion.

However this conclusion is just my opinion based on previous experiences preordering games through Amazon including the release of 2.0 as well as the way the responses came off to me.

If you are worried about not getting the preorder code and items and don't feel obligated to get the game through Amazon then definitely get it directly through the SE store.

Edit: yep, I read that exact response and it comes off as confused to me, as if the official responder doesn't really know what the preorder code is and believes it to be a different product or service, not a code that comes with the game as a bonus.

Would be nice to get a response from a SE rep on the situation with preordering from 3rd party sellers like Amazon.

Amazon is not offering the physical collector's edition, so I'm not interested. I want the feelies.

This would be the best for those of us that wish to buy it off a 3rd party seller for what ever reason, could set us up on ease

I have no problem purchasing it from the SE store, but I've been sitting on a Amazon gift card that I got from my aunt for Christmas and I'd really love to put it to use for Heavensward. I'd also love if a rep can confirm that Amazon was given and authorized to distribute pre-order codes (and they are just not emailing them until a later date)

Is my same reason, i got a gift card waiting on Heavensward CE, but im not going to spend it in a store that wont give the preorder code

I can't even order the digital CE on Square's site...or am I missing something?

The digital download for PC is available on the store as far as I can tell.

what bugs me is they said that US stores and online stores(including amazon.com which was mentioned by name) besides the SE store would have the pre-order code....c'mon SE fix this.
