Still wondering if loot lockout will be removed from Final Coil as well. I guess it wouldn't make sense to keep the loot lockout if it will be in DF considering very few players will run it again in DF if they can't get anything from it (minus LOLsoldiery/Poetics).

You don't need the mainquests.
Buying 3.0 is also optional

Final coil will probably be locked to full parties when it's added to the df, as they did with bcob and scob when they were added to df, and by adding to the df the lockouts will be removed, otherwise what's the point. All it would do is save you the cost of a teleport to Northern thanalan. Will probably have no ilvl req at first and then when it's open to solo qs there will be an ilvl req, and most likely some nerfs. Obv this is purely speculatory atm, but following the previous pattern this is what I think will happen.

since they have talk to add echos buff at later date, i doubt that the loot will stay locked, after all it will have little to no impact, since people still need to do BC2 for get in BC3 *shrugs*

Can the Poetics weekly cap please get removed as well for 2.55? IFF FCoB loot lockouts are being lifted (kinda expected with DF) it'd be nice to have things to use all those twines and coats on. My Poetics are already struggling to keep up with my weekly upgrade item from doing the weekly.

I personally find T9's mechanics way more challenging than 10 or 11, though FCoB is obviously more of a DPS check.
