Crafting Leves give WAY too much EXP!

Since this is your first time experiencing this. You do know you only get 6 level allowances a day right (3 every 12 hrs)? You might be able to level one or more DoH classes to 50 in a day or two, but that comes at a cost. You will have to wait 16 days before you have 100 leves again and can repeat the process. So while yes you can power level a few classes, you then have to wait a very long time to do it again.

Because grinding ingots on a macro for days on end just sounds far less tedious than it already is to grind leves.

It's mostly to do with the outlook of it. Crafting is not for everyone. General outlook is that it is tedious, and thus boring. Unlike leveling a class/job, there was really only one way to do it without leves... which means that there's only 2 ways to do it (prior to Ixal daily quests, which would make it 3). Even with the daily quests, that's only so much per day (similar to leves, but you can't build them up to reserve beyond one extra day).

Crafting is also considered side content, which means that methods to level it don't have to be as restrictive on gains. When ARR first released, leves weren't exactly the most reliable means to level (due to leve allowance, mat cost/availability, and certain bugs). These days, it's not very difficult to find someone that can assist you with leve items to turn in. Be that as it may though, it still doesn't remove the tedious nature of leveling a craft, so it doesn't change the outlook of easing the process.

Uh.. no, I have a problem with it before and after. I would rather the EXP not be this giving. But who wouldn't take advantage of it? In fact it's hard to not take advantage of it once you find it. I am only expressing what I see. If the EXP was where I think it should be I wouldn't be here discussing about it. So no I am not " Pulling the ladder behind me". Because if the EXP was a bit lower in the first place The ladder would still be there.

In the end though, it won't matter as nothing will probably change. but I am allowed to give my opinion on the matter as feedback is important.

What about people who dont have many hours to play the game? These leves can help them quickly level crafting classes, while they don't have as many options as battle classes, so leves are really the best time efficient way to level.

I am not saying drop the exp by 20k or anything like that. I understand people that don't have that much time need to levels at a decent pace too. but I do think 30k is a bit ( just a bit) over-excessive for people with or without time. 25k with a 50-75% increase for a HQ.

That's still a lot for the people who don't have time. This is only my perspective though. Things won't change because 1 person thinks it's too much. That doesn't stop me from letting them know about my opinion :p.

lvl 1 to 50 is the easy part.

Not so sure youll complain about things beeing to easy when you finally get fully melded artisan gear, lucious tool and Master craft book II :)

The fact that you can have a friend make the stuff for you ruins any challenge this has and any argument you may have, honestly.

I'm not for or against it, whatever, it's crafting, just thought your argument was a little silly. :P
