Release date confirmed and Early access!

I think they were just mentioning the ways its being released, Big pack, Solo pack, and bundle pack

CE preorders start March 16 they said

How much is the CE.

As long as there is a digital collector's edition I will be happy. >__< They didn't mention any sort of digital versions at all for the expansion, but I hope they plan on doing it the same way as when FFXIV 2.0 was originally released.

Well at least early access is still technically spring. So they still didnt really miss their release window of "spring 2015"

Disappointed to be honest. Happy that, "Delays typically are good for games", I guess. But really let down that they went out of their way recently to say that we wouldn't have to wait long after 2.5 part two, to get into Heavensward.

I mean, this potentially leaves us at a 3 month gap of content. I don't know what they plan on doing to keep the current players engaged in the mean-time.

I need that dragoon job set in heavensward right now!

It's about the same amount of time between major patches. Three months from the final installment of 2.5
